About

I'm Aarav — a photographer based in Wellington, New Zealand moving to Australia in 2027 to study and to keep building In Motion alongside it.

Photography started as a way for me to capture moments that I knew I wouldn't want to forget. Over time, I realised that a photograph can hold more than just an image, it can preserve a feeling, a place, a person, or a moment exactly as it was. I love being able to slow the world down for a second and find meaning in things that might otherwise pass by unnoticed. For me, photography is about telling stories without needing words and creating something that can make a moment last.

I shoot sport, portraits and headshots and events, with a background in theatre lighting and videography that shapes how I see and use light.
